Jotun Paints Invests More Than RM60mil in New Powder Coating Factory in Nilai

NILAI, NEGERI SEMBILAN – Leading Norwegian paint company, Jotun Paints (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd today inaugurated a new Powder Coating factory in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. The major paint manufacturer represented in over 100 countries made an investment worth RM60mil in this new facility, demonstrating its confidence in the local economy while further anchoring its presence in Malaysia. The new state-of-the-art Powder Coating factory will increase by more than double in production capacity and contribute to the company’s bullish ambition to increase market share.

PETRONAS has selected Jotun

PRESS RELEASE: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia / Sandefjord, Norway - PETRONAS has selected Jotun’s Hull Performance Solutions (HPS) antifouling system for two LNG vessels chartered from MISC. Advanced antifouling coatings and a full suite of performance measurement sensors will now be applied to Seri Amanah and Puteri Zamrud in a move that will increase vessel efficiency, substantially cut fuel costs and reduce CO2 emissions by 10%.

The Norwegian Business Association (Singapore) and the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce have joined hands in publishing Norway-Asia Business Review targeted at the Norwegian business community in South- and Southeast Asia. We are also happy to extend the geographic area to Northern Asia so we cover all of Far East. The first issue was out last month and was distributed to all participants at the summit in Singapore.

We are proud to announce that Aker Solutions Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. won the 2nd place in this year’s Norway-Asia Business Award competition (NABA). – The NABA was presented at the Norway Asia Business Summit in New Delhi on Friday the 17 April where about 200 delegates were present.
